I read an article today on the Disney Tourist Blog Website (see link below) that confirms that Disney is moving forward with plans to relocate 2,000 jobs from California to Florida.
The article states, “The Lake Nona campus would become the main campus for Walt Disney Imagineering and others in the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP) division. Initially, most of the DPEP positions based in Southern California that were not fully dedicated to Disneyland Resort or the international theme parks would be relocated to Florida.”
More and more companies are leaving California at alarming rates. As a California business owner, I see the trend continuing to gain speed as California adds more and more regulations and requirements for businesses of all sizes.
IMPACT Properties (www.impactproperties.com) has assisted many companies and dozens of workers relocate to places outside of California. With operations in California, Tennessee, and Alabama, we are able to help with the entire move if the employee being relocated is moving to any of those destinations.
